Pastor Coley C. Chestnut, Sr
Pastor Coley C. Chestnut, Sr., a servant of Jesus Christ, serves as Senior Pastor and Overseer of Fresh Anointing House of Worship in Selma, Alabama with his wife Co-Pastor Tonya S. Chestnut. As a native Selma, Pastor Chestnut has experienced and participated in much of the civil, cultural and spiritual transformation efforts in the Blackbelt region.” My testimony is quite the genetics of the Bible as The Lord through His grace and mercy saved me from a party boy to His servant. It was a spiritual encounter with The Lord Jesus Christ in 1985 that eternally transformed me and it was during that season I was called to preach His gospel of the kingdom.”
Pastor Chestnut formerly served as pastor of New Shiloh Baptist Church, Sardis, Alabama prior to founding FAHOWS. Pastor Chestnut has also served as Chaplain in the Alabama Department of Corrections, member of the Selma City School Board, Alabama Baptist Conference Team and several local and state boards and committees. Pastor Chestnut currently serves as Director of Student Activities at Concordia College Alabama.
Pastor Chestnut is a graduate of Alabama A&M University, Hunstville, AL, Bachelor of Science, Birmingham Theological Seminary, Birmingham, AL, Master of Ministry Additional studies at Samford University, Howard Extension campus and Alabama State University.
Pastor Chestnut is a representative of the gospel of the Kingdom of Christ through the media venues of TBN TV45 as having served as host of the regional Praise The Lord Program and the Kingdom In Sight radio ministry. Pastor Chestnut continues to speak the Word of God at conferences, workshops, revivals and through everyday conversations with everyday people.
Pastor Chestnut is married to the lovely Co-Pastor Tonya S. Chestnut who is “a sparkle in my eyes (my Mpenzi, which is Swahili for darling).” Pastor Chestnut has other reasons for his eyes to sparkle being children, Tameka, Karley, Tamela, Coleysia and Coley II. Pastor Chestnut is the son of Coley and Helen Chestnut.
